Courses on Herbs (In Czech only!)

The Lu & Tiree Chmelar Herb Garden Association organizes monthly hands-on weekend courses on how to use herbs. They are led by expert instructors. The courses focus on properties of herbs, how to use them in the kitchen, as home remedies or natural cosmetics.

During the workshop, you will make various products, such as herbal brews, syrups, honey, jams, pesto, tinctures, medicinal wines, oils and vinegars, soaps, bath salts, facial creams, and much more.

Included in the price is a cookbook describing the techniques and all the ingredients. Aside from the skills acquired through the hands-on activity, you will also take home everything that you made during the course.

During the season (May – October), each course also includes a guided tour of the herb garden.
